Not a mountain bike, but a 1974 Raleigh Grand Prix (lugged steel frame built in the Netherlands).  Plan on keeping it looking pretty much original looking only without all of that fancy shifter mechanism doohickey crap...she'll be a single/fixed gear bike.  Can't wait to fix this up.

I got some track bars that would look smashing on that rig.  good luck with it and keep us posted. I love a good build no matter the type mtb or roadie.

Update on the anti-MTB.  Vintage Cinelli stem/bars.  Schwalbe Lugano white/gumwall look tires.  Temporarily has a WTB saddle...but will probably get a black or brown leather saddle of some sort.  Still trying to figure out what color wraps to go with.

Lookin sexy so far:

Vintage crank/ring...old school cotter pin cranks baby!

That things looking good man!  I hate to say it, but I think boring ole black would look good since the frame has black accents.
