I have prior plans to go to Boyette, so even though this would be the best croom will ever be, I will not be making it...

You can short cut into the pits by parking at Croom 1 and riding the paved trail 2.7 miles up and then left into the woods. That is the 12 mile bail out
Short cut?!  Short cut?  You don't take no stinking short cuts.  Ride it like it's meant to be.  Could always get one of those sidewalk bikes.   ;)

Those who did not show missed a good ride, the trails had a great pack. I will be riding there more this rainy season. 8)
