What is a frankenbike? Or perhaps the question is why? I get the impression you have like six of them ;)

Frankenbike, like Frankenstein, was built from different parts gathered from different sources.   I believe most, if not all of them, were donated.  Items people had laying around.  Fortunately, with a Frankenbike, no one had to violate any graves to find the parts that were needed.

Is this particular, or other similar frankenbike for sale to a good kid who needs a durable bike? My nephew needs something that will hold up. I am hunting around on a very limited budget. He has a POS mongoose and everything is brokne. brakes, stem, cranks jiggling around inside crushed bottom bracket bearings, etc.

Bike was delivered to it's rightful owner Saturday at Santos. She is stoked to say the least. She hit most of the blue trails and it held together just fine..............fingers crossed.
