What will 2007 bring?
« on: December 28, 2006, 04:18:50 PM »
For me I was hoping to do the three endurance rides - San Felasco, Ididaride, Croom - but I missed the cut for San Felasco, so I'm going to do my own 50 miler that weekend somewhere.  No T-shirt or SAG, but I'll get the ride anyway.

For 2007 on my bikes:
I want all of my bikes working at the same time.  Almost there once I get my frame replaced.

Three endurance rides in the beginning of the year.  I'll get that but one won't be organized.

Do a couple of centuries on the road bike.

Race the Squiggy solo.  Maybe enter another race or two in the year also.

Spend more time in my kayak.

Spend less money on my bikes!  :-/

Finish new trail at Boyette and redo Quadrants.

Tailgate feast after rides more often.

Sounds like a good plan!  We'll have to check off each item as time goes by.

What are your lap goals for Squiggy this year?

well i'm up for a few of those Garry...

I am doing the Croom 50 miler and would like to be done within 5 hours...

I would like to do the Squiggy and a couple of other races this year...

I would like to get to more trail maintenance days this year...maybe 30 or so hours....

I dont have a road bike or a kayak but I'd settle for some good saddle time, maybe even get the wife out there more often...

And I definately don't want to spend that much money on my bike this year....

Good luck with your plan!  I'll be needing it too...

I'm aiming for 7 laps.  I'll have to haul butt - maybe hang off Harveys wheel.  Yeah I know.  WHo knows, I might be able to keep in sight??

Garry,
I'll cheer for you.  Try not to push me off the trail as you zoom by me.  BTW, Harvey had a great support sag stop after the scoring table.  Are you going to setup your own so you don't have to come back to your truck?  I didn't see him with a camelbak and he was just using one bottle.  So he had someone giving it to him after the table.  You may want to setup your own.
