No, I wasn't talking about the new entrance, though I rode that too. Still sandy and soft, but it will be a nice addition once it gets packed down.
The entrance to Corkscrew is a few hundred yards after The Plunge on your left. It's a short trail. I didn't measure it, but I'd say a few hundred yards total. Short climb up, turn left, pedal along a flat area, down the steep but short hill into the corkscrew, left, right and you're back onto Ridgeline. As Garry said, the corkscrew itself is easy to see. It's a only a few yards from the Ridgeline trail.

ok, so was that the one that was blocked by logs last saturday?

Of the trail as you cruise through Ridgeline - hence the title of this thread "Re: Corkscrew trail at Ridgeline".  As you are JRA (just riding along) you will see the banked turn running parallel on your left side of the the Ridgeline trail, then a narrow curve to the right of the "trail" you are on and a left "fork" taking you onto said trail so that when riding it you will then see on your right the trail you were just on whilst looking at Corkscrew on your left.

Yes, it was the one with branches blocking it on Saturday while the crew worked on it. On Sunday it was open.

Rode Boyette today for the first time in months. Except for the light rain on the two mile trek in the conditions are awesome out there. Ridgeline has been ridden in great minus the new entrance and Corkscrew. Alafia was a wash out so I headed over to Boyette and glad I did. Even made the last hard climb out of Pandemonium after three trys (it's easier then I remember).
