$7000 for frame alone.
But the cool factor is priceless ;D
So save up that tax refund if you are expecting some.
The frame can also be use to stash those gu packets and energy bar wrappers 8)

Edit: did I say it weight less than 2.75 lbs

7k for a hardtail? you can get a frame that weighs a pound more and save $6500, or you can buy this one for 7k and cry after the first good wreck

Halfway through a muddy race, and my Rush would weigh less  ;D

it's not only an Ugly bike for 7K ( & a Hardtail) but i cant even imagine having to clean it when it gets full of Mud.... Before you know it, the 2.7lbs frame will be a 10lbs Monster with all the mud it will trap with all the damn holes.

Those Calfee bamboo bikes are cool...if I had tons of money, I'd buy one so I could be super cool at the monthly critical mass.

Nothing cool at Critical Mass.

Last Friday I took my girls to the park and then out to dinner and it happen to be the day of the monthly critical mass in Orlando...it looked like it was more of a big social ride through the downtown Orlando area than 'making a statement' as it was well past rush hour and well before people start heading downtown for the evening.  I did see a guy on a bike that was practically 8 ft. tall and my daughter found him amusing.
