It's this Saturday. Please RSVP to the trail boss if you can make it out. I have to work this weekend, so I can't make it, but I will get out in the middle of the month and rebuild some of my trail karma.

My apologies to missing the workday. First time to Alafia. Google told me 43 minutes. Actually took 1:25 though probably 5 of that was stopping for gas and another 10 minutes was wasted in Plant City where I ended up an Alexander when I meant to be on 39. That ate up the 20 minutes of extra time that I'd budgetted so I didn't get in til 9:15. I changed into riding shorts and just rode around. Never did find anyone but I didn't venture out on to the hard stuff so that must have been where everyone was.

there was only 4 of us working today. spent all day working on moonscape, some on the extension and other spots fixed some erosion problems and blocked bypasses. wish more people showed up so more could have been accomplished.

that is disappointing. I'm gonna set up another workday mid-month, there are alot of things that need to be done out there.

hopefully the drop before the high line in doom is fixed. you never realized how steep that little drop is until you walk up it with 20lbs rocks.

Since I missed the main group while riding around I tried to pick up litter when ever I saw it. Pulled over to grab a wrapper and spotted a nice polar insulated water bottle at the bottom of the first big descent on North Creek mostly buried in the leaves. Contents of it smelled like fermented lemonade and it was bloated so I think it'd been there awhile. Needless to say I didn't drink it. Just dumped it and stuffed it into my bottle cage. I figure it was karmic payment for picking up trash.
