Night Rides: So, what's the deal?
« on: May 14, 2009, 07:01:27 PM »
I recently heard a rumor that SWAMP is now hosting "official" monthly night rides at Boyette. Any truth to the rumor?

Details will be much appreciated.

Gracias

I'd like to do this but it will really be pushing my luck if I absolutely have to be there at 7 sharp. How much can I reasonably be late? I have to drive from Lakeland leaving at 5-5:20 back home (USF area), change clothes, load the bike, and drive back to Lithia all in ugly traffic. Probably doable but it'll be super close. Of course that's assuming I'll even be fit to ride after doing 60.25 miles (road) this afternoon (and I'm hurting).

Take both wheels off ,put the bike in the trunk or back seat and take it to work with you. Change clothes in the bathroom that is on site at the Boyette parking lot.

Wish that was an option but I drive a marked company van for work. I'd rather keep my job and drive-home privileges than make this ride on time.

Gotcha, had the same exact issue a few years back. Always racing home to change clothes and vehicles. Wasn't allowed to use the company truck for anything outside of work. Missed a lot of fun stuff being married to that company truck  :'(
