Parking Lot @ Boyette?
« on: May 28, 2009, 11:56:48 AM »
Does anyone know what is going on there?  I saw a bunch of trees cut and telephone pole posts in the ground.  are they expanding the lot?

Actually thats exactly whats going on Forrest.

Due to the recent additions the popularity of the park has grown and so has the need for safer parking options.

Actually, I have no idea whats going on, but it did sound like a professional response!

I'd pay $20 each visit to Boyette if they had an A/C monorail to and from the parking lot.

So no one really knows what is going on over there?

I hear the launching the monorail the same time they unveil the 2000 vertical foot mountain out there.

Monorails are for panzies - the two mile out is a warm up, and then back is FE's time trial.  ;)

Asking for this post to be deleted as it is offensive to those who dislike two mile sand pits.

I think Loch Ness and Golf Cart would be a great warm up. And factorells has tons of energy left for the ride back cause he walks all the hard stuff  ;D

Ok, so no monorail but how about a people mover like at the airport? Tow rope on some sort of pulley system? Maybe I should just stick with Alafia and let all you quicksand lovers have at it out at Boyette. Damn it, just remembered how much I loved Golf Cart last time I was out there.  :'(

Just to make it official, this Moderator also thinks that you are panzie, for complaining about the two mile warm up into Boyette.

So Cat, that makes it an official moderator stance...... ;)

Well watch your butts, I mean backs cause there are  lot of sand pit hating pansies out there. Guess I need to put in a order for pink cable housings and grips.

Are you guys saying that if there was an option to park at the trail head you would still opt for the remote parking lot?

Well, I do kind of miss the original parking for Alafia.
