June workday
« on: May 29, 2009, 02:59:31 PM »
June workday has to be one of the lowest populated of the year thanks to the heat.  Can we consider starting the workday at 7 for those of us who can make it that early?  I would love to be done before it gets too hot and I am willing to give up my pre workday ride to make it happen.  Art, Jason?  Can we do this?  If not, I may have to bust out a speedo to work in, and no one wants that!!

Anyone else able to make it for 7?  If not I guess I can always sleep in and bear the heat.

I should be able to do either time. I will also wear my thong speedo for the heavy rock lifting.

I won't be able to make the workday again due to work. But I'll probably try to set another one up mid-month to go out and fix something like we did last weekend.

I am in this month. I like the idea of 7. Work till 11, skip the lunch. Hit up a pub on the way home for some cold ones.

Jonesy, you are the man!!  Beer sounds great.  First round is on me for whoever hits the bar with us after the workday.

Krunch, how much trimming is left to do?  I hope none!!

To be honest, I do not remember being slapped in the face too many times while riding the last two weekends. Most of what I would like to to concentrate on is closing down all of the bypasses off Rollercoaster option #1. However, I hope that we can just focus most of our attention on the new trail(s).

Also letting folks know early that Boyette will have a big workday on June 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

We want to try and finish, or come close to finishing, the return route for Spider Berm.

After that one is done then we will be looking to do the same for West Meadow.  That should have a fun little exit built into it.

RSVP so lunch and tools can be planned for.

You answered my question before I had to ask. Walked the new Spider Berm trail Sunday as was wondering which direction it would flow. That last little uphill should be a challenge. Hope no one is blazing by as we hit the top.

Gary, I will make the Boyette day. Something about g-string speedo's and rock lifting has turned me off of Alafia work days. Maybe for ever.
My son will come with me...I am making him earn off his new bike I am building him.....he can be our water boy.
