According to the Specialized website, your bike comes with Specialized alloy handlebars.  And then of course is the disclaimer at the bottom:

Specifications subject to change without notice.

Congrats....I loved my Rockhopper.  Gotta post some pics.  I'm riding Boyette on Sat, and your welcome to come along for the 50 cent tour.

EA30 is possibly the equivalent of the Specialized bars. Those are Easton's lowest end model. You've got EA30, EA50,EA70,EA90 and then carbon. EA30 MSRP is $20 for flat bar and $30 for riser but you can pick them up online for less than half that plus shipping.

I hear ya on getting into shape.  I might put down the beer and stop eating at Mcdonalds everyday, and start getting into shape myself.  It would be nice not to have to take a 15 min break every mile....

I put the beer down about 3 months ago when i hit 235 at 5'9 my ideal weight is about 195-200, now i just have to quit going to CDB'S and eating 10 lbs of fried calamari and stay away from the buffets. just recently stopped smoking cigs so cardio's not so great

My poison is the chinese buffet, little Ceazars $5 large pizza and of course buy on get one free crazy bread, Indian buffet in Brandon and of course the pre ride egg mcmuffin value meal. If it wasn't for those evil places I'd like to think I'd be down to a lean mean 175lbs. I've been stuck at around 185lbs for months now but I'm ok with that since I had blow'd up to 215lbs last year. It, of course, is the fault of the restuarants not my own lack of will power  ;D

Consider myself very luck to have never picked up a beer habit but Coke certainly has my allegiance.
