Good morning all
« on: June 11, 2009, 09:11:44 AM »
I'm taking my girlfreind camping this weekend at Alafia for her birthday. The problem is that all the sites are reserved in the non horse loop and I'm left with only horse camping. I called the park and was told that those sites my smell of horse nuggets. So, my question is, has anyone camped in these sites before and if so, is the smell of manure an issue?

Thanks

I did not know they had camping. I'm fairly new to riding here. I'll check it out for sure. Are there any other places to camp and ride? Thanks.

when we camp there for the fat tire festival its not that bad just bring a rake and pull it in the woods and if your girlfriend stays with you after that shes a keeper..

I've camped there before, its worth it, just watch out for the fire ants that the horse manure attracks.
