Do you live in the hood?
« on: June 29, 2009, 08:44:23 AM »
How to tell if you live in a bad part of town

1) Everyone is on a brightly colored full suspension Mongoose or equivalent and use them exclusively on the road
2) Adults will be riding kid sized bikes
3) Kids will be riding the adult size
4) Really old men will be riding those stretched out harley looking bicycles
5) And most of them will be riding a bike which was intended for the opposite sex

Isn't this pretty standard for Florida in general?

A quick google search for 'jorts' and that's what you get...
in other news, i *did* see a guy mowing his lawn one day wearing something like that... they were cut so short that even the front pockets were hanging out the bottom of the legs. :o

Oh God, childhood trauma is coming back. My dad never moved on from the 70's and he used to where those damn things while doing yard work. We had a big yard so he was out there all the time, especially when the school bus would drop me off right in front of my house. I'd have to check and see what he was wearing before inviting friends over. The freaking pockets would hang down below the shorts. Thanks for making me relive it
