Prayers needed
« on: July 01, 2009, 08:36:03 PM »
Despite the opinions that some of you might have formed about me with respect to my *iness or trail ignorance, I am asking you all for prayers for my wife, as she is having heart surgery tomorrow to repair a hole in heart that has been causing strokes.  She is 27 and we have 3 kids under 3 years old.  Thanks guys.

A 'good' ride is one that you can walk away. A'great' ride is one after which you can use the bike again.

Lots of us went through trail ignorance when we first joined the club and the *iness (if you call it that) has provided entertainment to a sometimes dull forum. No need to make mention of it again far as I'm concerned.

My really good friend in Michigan was born with a hole in his heart and the his doctor is trying to get him to agree to surgery as well. He doesn't like to talk about it but from what family members have told me they have gotten really good at performing the repair procedure. He is also 27yrs old but his health problems do not include strokes but rather shortness of breath and panic attacks.

Take care cgarolr.

No formulated opinions since the internet doesn't truly allow for that to happen.  Information about trails, bikes, and endurance sports with everything that goes with it in general beats ignorance everytime.  So no opinion is formed.  You're going to have to try harder for that to happen.
Sorry to hear of your wifes health, but I have a belief in todays medicine that will hopefully make this right.  My thoughts are with you and your family and sending all of the positive vibes I can.

You are supposed to have the twins first and then stop :)

I hope the surgery goes well and she has a swift and full recovery.

Hey Ciggy, your wife is in our thoughts and prayers. As mentioned previously, the power of prayer is Heaven sent. Keep us informed.
