vacation rides
« on: July 02, 2009, 09:15:56 AM »
My wife and I are heading up to the mountains in Ga for our 4th of July vacation. We'll be near Helen, Ga and are planning on riding the Jasus Creek Loop and Chicopee Woods. Any other suggestions for good riding in that area? We won't be able to go to Dausset or Ellijay.

We did Bull mt and Jake while up there last year. Had fun but the trails were not maintained and therefore looked more like a dirtbike trail than a mtb trail. Lots of gravel road riding mixed with exciting but not plentiful single track. You really had to pay for the downhills and my fitness level just wasn't cutting it.

Well, at least I'll have cool scars to show my grandkids.
