I-5 Colonnade Mountain Bike Park, Seattle
« on: July 09, 2009, 12:15:28 PM »
Just wondering if anyone has been to this MB park in Seattle.  It was designed and constructed under the interstate just north of downtown Seattle.  I will be there from August 1-10.  What a great concept and use of public land.  If you don't know about it, check it out on YouTube for some video.

I was thinking closer to my home (being selfish) under the new Crosstown Connector that will connect I-4 to the Crosstown along 30th Street.

I thought that was supposed to be built over the railroad track corridor. Haven't heard about it in awhile though. If I'm still curious I'll have to do some research when I get home after I lube up the paintball gun arsenal (gonna shoot me some coworkers Saturday).

You may be right about using the RR corridor.  In any case a great use of unusable land except for maybe parking.
