Success! Rode w/wife
« on: July 09, 2009, 01:28:35 PM »
Started out rocky.  Drove to Trout Creek.  Sky looked and sounded bad.  Drove to Boyette.  Weather held.  Had no map.  Rode SST, the palmetto's (?), then east meadow to spider berm, randy's trail and then doubletrack back.  Had a great time, did almost  9 miles (8.9).  Most importantly she had a great time, got challenged a little, got a great workout (750 cal.), and didn't get hurt! All in all, I consider it a success.

God is great, beer is good, people are crazy!

Congrats on that. I just took the GF for her first mtb ride on sunday. Lucky for me her best friend and her BF ride so she was surrounded by friends for a nice little ride at Santos and go figure, she's a natural. Next job, find a bike that fits her 5'3" frame  ;D
