The Good, the Bad, and the Embarrassing!
« on: July 09, 2009, 05:18:55 PM »
Went to Santos for the 1st time Tue. w/Skinman.  We hit all the regulars and then hit the Freeride area.  The "Good" (a pic taken of me catching air)

The "Bad" (not checking the trail "after" and easy roller!
The "Embarrassing" telling Paul to video it!

Oh yeah, the crash results fortunately were minor.  Had to re-install front brake plunger and adjust lever, and blew the seal of my Stan's gooped front tire.  Was able to get it to hold air for another hour and a half.

Bikes are so complicated these days that when crashed something always breaks.

Back in the day when bikes were heavy all you had to worry about when crashing were mis aligned handlebars and shifters.

Moderate attempt to show 29ers aren't just for SS XC racing.  They are good for 1x9's and a bit of air too!  ;D

The best part of that crash was your shout just before you went down...I didnt laugh at the time cause I thought you might have been hurt. That loud CRACK was a sickening sound.
Its very funny now though!

Thems some nice bikes in your photobucket coach. Not sure why you finally settled on the Giant look-a-like though :D

I must have watched that video ten times by now.

Because I couldn't afford a DW Sultan!  ;D
...and don't believe it is a $700 better bike.
