Just got my bags from Eric parsons of Epic designs. Nice stuff very well made. I don't know if I can stop. this stuff is addicting I'm an old boy scout i can't bring enough stuff LOL

They come in handy as a sleeping mat or to go for a swin on one of the swamp lakes.

How long is this CFITT thing?  I thought it was within 120-150 miles.  Are you all really going to be camping and doing it as an overnight thing?

The estimated miles are between 150 and 180. We will know in 2 weeks the exact miles. You have from 6 am Saturday till 2 PM sunday to complete the route.... if you make it an overnighter - that is up to you. I'm planning on being done in less than that time and not sleeping... that's just me though.

i think adding a first aid kit, emergency blanket and water filter to the items you carried on the Big-O will probably let you squeak by.... check NI's blog... was there a mandatory gear list? i don't remember....
