8 hours of Labor
« on: July 19, 2009, 09:25:08 PM »
so who is in and what class are you racing?

8 hour solo for me.

I have been doing a lot of work as far as weight and fitness go - I will have a good month or so of quality interval workouts under my belt as well.  This should be a good self test to see how I am coming along and if the hard work is going to eventually pay off.

I'm planning on doing it again. The new baby is due on the 7th so as long as she waits til then I'm in. I'm 20+ lbs lighter this year and I've been on the bike a bunch more so hopefuly I'll put in some laps. Planning on solo but might end up doing team.

I am trying for 7 laps - there is a lot of climbing and this course doesnt particularly suit my style of riding but I am going to give it a shot.

I will secure is a 10x10 tent for us - you supply the pit chic to help us out with bottles and maybe ring a cowbell if we look like we are going too slow

i've been thinking of this - along with the Shenanndoha 100..... solo of course.

it will be a ton cheaper than going all the way to virginia.... but my parents live 2 hours or so from the course up there (and they have an RV i could use as a base-of-operation and do even more riding while in the area... and i haven't been to visit since last august.... what to do what to do?

Are you doing the FSC this year?

I am planning on doing some of the races - it is too $$ to race the whole series - I love those races though - planning on racing the x cross series this year for the first time as well

Do you plan on staying up there the night before? I did that last year but because of $$$$ I will prolly just drive up morning of. Race doesn't start till 10. It is a long drive from Sarasota though. If anything I'd stay the night after the race.
