What is the latest report at Boyette ? I think I may ride in the morning.
Mike
A 'good' ride is one that you can walk away. A'great' ride is one after which you can use the bike again.

Yes. They are.

I was out there yesterday.....back four still closed. Everything else is in GREAT shape, with the exception of hog damage on Golf Cart.

Everything but the "back four" are open.

Saturday the 8th we will have a workday to focus on opening Lower Spider Berm, and if enough people volunteer we can also get some of the closed trails opened.  They have been closed TO LONG!  But, it takes bodies to come out and do it.

RSVP if you can make it so we can plan for the workday and lunch.
Thanks in advance!

Gary, Still planning on a work day next Saturday? (8/8) PJ keeps going on and on about "Spider berm this" and "Spider Berm that". It would be cool to have him there the day we get the lower section open .
The work day 6 weeks ago really had a positive impact on him. He has a special attachment to that trail now.

Sweet!  I love seeing the younger folks getting involved and being so stoked about it.  Todays Youth Ride was like that.  Only a couple of kids on NEW bikes, and they were grinning from ear to ear and even CLEARED Heart Break Ridge!  Awesome stuff.

Anyway, there is a scheduled workday coming up Sat. Aug. 8th.  It should only take four or five VOLUNTEERS an hour, hour and a half hopefully to open the entrance to Lower Spider Berm and take out three big fallen trees off the trail.  The rest of the crew will be working diligently to repopen Sidewinder and Ridgeline.  Yes!  We need to get that area fixed.  Need bodies though to do it.
