I used to Swear on my 01' & 03' Stumpy HT, Even Bought the 04' Stumpy HT, Then rode an 03' Epic, I was like WOW!. Best of Both Worlds.. Havent looked back since.

It's possible it was covered before, but the article i referenced was new and I'm sure hasn't been seen by a lot of people.  I've personally got nothing against 26" wheels, or hardtails -- was just an interesting read.

Well, lookee there -- seems like the article was re-published on a different/new site.  I'm guessing this is why the hyperlinks I keep *attempting* to insert are being removed automatically by the forum software.  It'd be nice to get a confirmation/explanation on that, but that doesn't seem to be forthcoming either.  In any event, I'd delete this apparently worthless thread if I could -- but the forum software isn't allowing me to do that either.

I am currently planning on being there....that could change when the alarm clock goes off, but that is the plan.

I ride a 29er, but am by no means a "29er zealot".  It works for me for now.  I believe there is room in MTBing for 26, 650b, 29, SS, HT, FS, unicycle, XC, AM, DH, etc.  I don't think any format will actually go away completely.

Ok, cool.  I'm looking forward to dialing in the new ride a little bit more.  Gotta say, the SRAM shifting experience was better than anything I've ever had with Shimano ... was pleasantly surprised.

Totally agree.  The main thing I found interesting about the article was what top-tier racers were doing, and why they were doing it.  For me personally, it doesn't really matter all that much -- I'm more just looking to push myself, keep improving, and have some fun while I'm doing it.
