« on: August 19, 2009, 09:27:06 PM »
I was at HTF for only about 35min. today testing a new set-up. I pulled a tick off the back of my knee just a minute ago. Dont let your guard down!

I was there. The white nissan with the Saris bones rack was me. I got there at 4:45 and pulled out at about 7:20.

The joggers were from Wharton High school.  :-X

Pulled one off my leg in the truck a few months ago after having to stand around the BBD entrance while waiting a few minutes for my girl to bring me my vehicle after deciding that I'd had enough abuse and really didn't feel like riding the 7 miles back home on knobbies. Hadn't bit me yet but it was crawling up my leg towards softer skin. Tough bugger too, was denting my fingernails as I crushed it for it's insolence.

I got one at the last Alafia workday. Didn't find him until I got home, luckily it hadn't embedded yet.

It'll help, but when it is this hot out most of the repellents just run right off with the sweat.
