Clydesdales ruining the trails
« on: September 04, 2009, 02:12:19 PM »
I am a clyde so this includes myself.  I noticed that with the trails getting so much rain and the fact they are in a fragile state right now...can we get a ban for all clydes to stay off the trails (myself included) until the trails can sustain the type of weight and force that we put on the trails?  I feel guilty every time I roll over a soft spot at over 200 pounds and look back and see the "canoe" that I just left in the trail system.  Maybe we can get a scale at the entrance to all the trails (sort of like the "you have to be this tall" signs at amusement parks).

If we are banning heavy guys from the trails, can we ban guys with hairy backs too?  While not necessarily bad for the trails, it is just not sanitary or appealing.  Thanks for your consideration.

that is why I shave...I support a good trail experience for everybody and don't want to make people look at gorilla hair

crap, i just realized my anti hair sentiment could be construed as pro-roadie.  for the record, i do not condone leg shaving for additional speed or even for sleek looks.  i am only pro-smooth on visible backs, upper arms and of course the "special" regions.  just wanted to be clear.
