kj, I would love to have someplace to build some jumps and stunts and I am sure there are a lot of other people who would love to help.  I also think we could get guys to kick in for a load of dirt and scour the construction sites for junk lumber to build stunts.  Is this pasture land you speak of out of sight of the roads there?  Otherwise it is a trespassing issue as people would sneak in, that's what killed the TOE.  I would like to be involved if you decide to build some stuff.

I have a few acres of unused pasture land.  What I don't have is much dirt above level ground, though I'm open to scooping out a pond.

if you build it, they will come....

it is landlocked with no paved access - it cannot be seen from the road, all sides are fenced.
In the past I've used it for friendly motorcycle race days with buddies but my moto days are behind me. It has a lot of things going for it including copious amounts of shade and a good size fire pit area.  Last year on any dry cool fall/winter weekend we'd be out there ripping CRF100's supermoto style.

The only problems it has is there's standing water from all the rains on about 1/4th the property and it's flat.  But aside from that it's a blank canvas that I pay taxes on and use very seldom.

It is not a possibility.  Alafia is a state park and has to meet higher standards than county lands such as carter or santos, we can have no wood and no man made obstacles.  It sucks, but it is what it is.  The trails are great anyway, hopefully we will see you at the next workday.

how is it that oleta has jumps and man made log rides?, over some pretty deep stuff.  theyre a state park.

They have a MUCH longer track record with the park.  The former land manager was an avid biker and let us do a bunch of stuff there that probably wouldn't fly elsewhere.  He has since moved on, but the legacy there remains.
