Very nice.  The biggest climb I had ever done was 1500 vertical feet of fireroad in singletrack in Pisgah.  I can imagine doing that more than once in a day.

if this puts it in perspective of how tired I was before I started this ride here is the file from the MTB ride 2 days before (then throw white water kayaking in between...lol)

6 miles up, 6 miles down with a top speed of over 30mph...very nice.  How did you feel on the downhill part?  I know you must have killed it on the climbs.

it was really hard both up and down..the pitch is much steeper and longer than anything here - I never thought 12 miles could be so hard...this ride was in pouring rain so the rocks were super slick which made the decent really sketchy but fun - also the creak crossings were something else with all the rain that they got recently

You need to find the names of the 91 guys that finished ahead of you, kill them, and then you would be the new King of Mountain.

Sometimes those downhills can beat you up worse than the climbs on the MTB. Specially the rocky techy stuff.

especially since it was raining...it was hard to relax and enjoy those downhills - they were a blast though
