PB, I did this ride for the first time last year. The folks up there in Suwannee county know how to put on a ride :o The terrain offers a little bit of everything, there is a spectacular overlook of the Big Shoals rapids that you hear long before you get to look at them, the ride shirt was a blue, performance fabric beauty and after the ride I was given a voucher for a ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet at one of the local B&B's. I will see you there ;)

Looks like fun.  Anyone have any info on what to expect for the ride (website doesn't have much info)?  From what I understand it is about 50 miles.  Are there SAG stops?

Sounds like a good time.  I'm in...just need to talk my partner in crime into doing it.  Definately have plenty of time to train for this.

It is a great ride, just did it for the first time this year. A bit of advice. Make sure and bring warm riding clothes that can be removed in layers. I wore a HotCHilis base layer top and leg warmers and was still pretty cold the first hour od so (32 degrees when the ride started). After a short time on the bike, I had to get rid of the leg warmers and eventually took off the base layer top. The support is great and the voucher for the B&B breakfast was awesome. Like others have said, it's a nice mix of terrain. The challenge was not near as difficult as the tour of Felasco or the Croom 50 to me, but still a great time.

What is the entry fee? Their link pretty much gives zero info on the event.

Crap January is going to be a busy month if I do this (and I'm seriously considering it). Cyclocross in West Palm and Hobe Sound the weekend before, and Miami the weekend before that.
