Its funny how music progresses so fast. I remember in the 80's my parents would'nt let me go to a journey concert but as a adult I took my young children

I Loved Metallica, but sort of stopped caring alot for their new music after the Black Album. but i still love the Old Sh*t!

"Darkness imprisoning me
All that I see
Absolute horror
I cannot live
I cannot die
Trapped in myself
Body my holding cell

Landmine has taken my sight
Taken my speech
Taken my hearing
Taken my arms
Taken my legs
Taken my soul
Left me with life in hell"

PS: BEER, Congrats on your new purchase!

         2. The End Of The Line
         3. Harvester Of Sorrow

         5. One
         6. Broken, Beat And Scarred
         7. Cyanide
         8. Sad But True
         9. Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
        10. All Nightmare Long
        11. The Day That Never Comes
        12. Master Of Puppets
        13. Battery
        14. Nothing Else Matters
        15. Enter Sandman
        16. Encore:
        16. The Wait (Killing Joke cover)
        17. Trapped Under Ice
        18. Seek & Destroy

I saw them at the Monster of Rock in RFK stadium in DC in the late 80's, they ROCK!!!!!!! I heard that they were using some new technology for amplification and that this would be the LOUDEST :o concert in history approaching 120 Decibles, the previous record was 116 by AC/DC. So, how loud was it?

I'd like them more if they forced Lars into retirement. That guy turned into quite the arrogant douchebag.

I still enjoy older Metallica. The black album was the start of their downward spiral. Seems they have been spewing out mediocre crap ever since, although their last album is a turn in the right direction.

yes, they are quite satanic. most of their songs are about how awesomely awesome satan is and how he rules this earth with neverending power...

i too went to the Metallica concert. was on the floor on the rail right in front of one of the microphones. It was an awesome concert. I was extremely excited to see Lamb of God live, and they did not dissappoint!!
