Welcome to the forum eatdirt1. Everyone does what they want. I personally have a blast posting shiznits and smack. I don't think this forum is very old also. Do you do any of the races down there? Raced at Oleta last fall and had a blast. Treacherous but alot of the sweeping turns, and berms were  awesome. Might be at oleta again next weekend.

Welcome Eatdirt1.

There only a handful of us who post regulary, however the swamp club regular pulls in 40 to 50 riders on the tuesday night ride, and often well over a hundred on the Sunday rides. Also there are a great many who give there personal time on Saturdays for the work days.

As a result there are great friendships made every week, The folks who have founded this club, are genuinely terrific people who not only love the sport of mountain biking, but also seem to really love the people who make up the club.
This forum is awesome, it provides good information and the relatively "small" number of us that post have all developed a certain respect and friendship with each other. I think that is pretty unique considering that many of us haven't even met.

I guess my point is that the SWAMP club is far more than this forum, I emplore you, if you live in our area, spend the 20 bucks it costs to join, spend some time working the trails, and join us for a weekend ride. I would be surprised if you still felt sad. The communication in the club is exceptional.
This Forum is fairly new and it is catching on bit by bit. Thanks to our forum manager Kevan, and global moderator, Garry.  In time it too will reflect the true nature of the SWAMP club. It is all about riding with friends and sharing the love for the bikes and trails.

Please spend some time with us,we would be happy to have you!

titanium manthats funny,i like saying that my self, but some times i come across people without a sence of humor, and it only makes things worst. ;D

i have a question, why are there over three hundred members, but only about twenty five actually post.
I used to belong to a bike club back northeast and most of the members are wired, either they work in front of a computer all day (alt+tab always works when your boss is behind you) or spend most of their after work time clankng the kybrd. You can post a topic in the 8am and get 20 replies before 5pm.
And most of them are singles that is why I like this Club because of its family friendly atmosphere. I guess it just different demographic.
