Crank Brothers.  On a boutique frame that does NOT have a lifetime warranty.   :D

Crank Brothers were the first clipless pedals I tried.  It's what I learned on, it's what I'm comfortable riding, so I don't see the sense in changing to something else.

currently riding the Crank Bros Candy 2Ti - they work great for me but I learned on CB pedals. Previously had the Candy SL and noticed they were getting deformed on the cages after use. The cages wouldnt rotate without starting to hang up.  The Ti s are holding their shape much better. They still look new after 4 months of use.
wherever you go.....there you are.

I ride time atacs, I have a small pair and a pair with platforms for the bigger bike(now my road pedals).  Coming from up north, they shed mud better than any of the other pedals I tried, and I tried alot.  I have not bought pedals since I have been in FL, so that's at least 5 years on the same 2 pairs.  I do break things, so the longevity of these pedals amazes me.

I picked TIME on the poll.  I have ridden their Z platforms, ATAC's and ATAC ROC's.  They are VERY durable and easy in and out when broken in.  Conversely, the person I ride with has broken two or three sets of C.B.   YMMV.

Love my SPD's, positive in and out, all metal construction for tank like durability, smooth as silk bearings.

I use CB Candys on my two main bikes. My Candy Cs which are currently on my cross bike have been indestructable and super smooth. Very happy with those pedals. My other Candys- not so much. The Candy SLs I have on my MTB had the end caps fall out within two weeks of getting the pedals and I guess the factory overtightened the nylok nut on the spindle because recently the threads stripped out of it. Thankfully the spindle threads are unharmed and it didn't let go completely but the pedal got where it would shift and slide on the spindle. Could have been bad. I don't like the plastic end caps that they're using now. I'm sure they're lighter than the metal caps on my Candy Cs and there's less chance for user error of someone overtightening them and stripping the threads of the pedal body but they don't seem to want to stay in place. I'm going to wrap some Teflon tape around them before reinstalling once I get a new 6mm NyLok nut.
CB did send me new end caps for free but after my experience with these Candy SLs and the Eggbeater MXRs I just can't really recommend them any more (had two pairs of Egg MXRs, left pedal from one set seized with less than one hundred miles of use, right from the other set after many many happy miles eventually got too sloppy on the spindle for me to feel comfortable with it, so I have one working pair remaining in the tool box)
I'm debating what I want to put on my new singlespeed/fixed gear. I'll probably put the Smarties that came on my cross bike on it and then the remaining MXR eggbeaters if those fail. My first pair of CBs (the Candy Cs that are currently on my cross bike) have been wonderful pedals. Based on that experience I bought in to the platform but other than the stock Smarties from my cyclocross bike which I never used all the others have given me trouble. I don't have faith in the platform any more and don't plan on buying any more. Though I'll keep riding them until they all die and CB won't fix them any more
