Two workday Saturday
« on: November 13, 2009, 02:58:45 PM »
We have two trail systems being worked this Saturday at 9:00.  Ken needs help trimming MB.  I'm looking for assistance to fix Pandemonium and the gully between East Meadow and Woods Trail.
RSVP to either Ken or myself so we know your coming.

Me and a few others will start from the Hillsborough river parking area (SOUTH SIDE) at 8:30 to trim HBR, Indian, Gator, Misery etc.

Ugh, shouldn't even try this after the eye doctor and dilated pupils.  Maybe beer will help.   ;D

That gully was kind of thrown in on the workday that invented the corridor from Woods to East Meadow.  Rains and use has made it crumble and sketchy to climb out.  Most times I and others make it, but you can see how it is getting worse, and those dark clay/dirt chunks don't last to long.  The ideal situation is one of low maintenance.  I'll still aim for a challenge on the fix, but something sustainable.
