Boyette was nice except the last 1/2 mile of Ridgeline was pretty muddy...

Well, how did you both like the pedals?

he did great. He was very confident by the end of the ride. They were a little stiff for me but I am sure they will work themselves in. It didnt help I have a sprained ankle...We both fell once, it was quite comical. he slammed on his brakes and stopped dead in front of me, we both toppled over right in front of some guy on a Giant.

I will prolly change the cleats around and go with less float. The best news is he loves the pedals and now has confidence instead of fear when it comes to being clipped in.....We did about 10 miles.

Boyette was great - except for a massive "just riding along" crash at the very beginning of SST...

Boyette was in real good shape today considering the rain.  A few spots on Ridgeline were muddy.  The climbs felt a little slimy due to the rain but nothing bad.  Overall good shape.

HAH...I did a JRA into the first turn a while back on that trail.  It will get you.
