Celebrity Sightings
« on: December 03, 2009, 08:12:51 AM »
No, this is not a link to TMZ.

Wondering if anyone has run into any celebrities when out and about.
I was on a bike trip in Ocala years ago and we were seated a few tables over from John Travolta. Couple of us did a walk by while looking out of the corner of our eye just to confirm it was him. That was totally unnecessary as the waitress came over a few minutes later and said that it was him and he actually comes in for breakfast quite often. They hold a booth all the way in the back for him so he can eat in peace. Collectively we decided not to bug the guy after seeing how much people like him get harrassed when out in public (plus he had a bodyguard with him). I can only assume he appreciated it cause after he was done eating he walked over to say hi, asked what we were up to today, and told us to have a good ride. He actually seemed like a really cool guy.

The wife and I saw Tommy Chong at the Tampa Museum of Art of few years ago. I pointed him out to my wife, he had short hair and she didn't beleive that it was him. I thought we should just leave him alone but she walked right up to him and asked "are you Tommy Chong?" and it was. He actually seemed flattered that we recognized him. We chatted for a few minutes. He's a really nice guy.
I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity.

Almost forgot about his one. Bunch of us were in a museum over in Amsterdam and this big dude walks up and stands right next to me. Looked over to find that it was the younger brother from that show Orange County Choppers. The goofy one with curly hair. I couldn't even remember his name so thought it would be pretty lame to do the whole "hey, you are that guy" routine.

How on earth do you find yourself cheating on a woman that looks like her? I'm so confused.
