Decisions, decisions,...where to ride Sunday a.m.
« on: December 03, 2009, 10:02:35 PM »
I know SWAMP is hitting Trout Creek Sunday.  However, I am looking to see if I can drum up some interest in a MOSTLY SS ride at Boyette around 8:30 a.m.  Geared and fully suspended bikes are welcome, just realize you will be ridiculed, especially if you "smoke" me!  In preparation for Ididaride, I know I "should" go to Trout Creek and do about 30 miles, but (in a childish temper tantrum voice) "I don't wanna!!!".  So, what say you?  Any takers?  Skin, 3T, BillT, Dan-O, Kenny, Stone Pony, Bueller, Bueller?

Dan-o and Catman were talking about Boyette on Sunday, but weather is looking grim...

Coach... I will commit to Boyette on Sunday. I have only ridden it once, so going with someone that knows the trial is a good thing. I don't have a SS bike, but I would gladly ride behind you. Just to meet forum members, and share the trail would be great. Let me know if you decide to go. I hope Catman goes, I have some kit for his Frankenbike!

You are the BEST!
kiltedranger, I enjoy everyone's company (OK, not everyone,but...).  Just want people to understand, I will be on my SS and encourage those that have one to bring it.  For those that are geared and FS, I want them to know that they may be waiting for me ...or not.  Does 8:30 work?

Probably heading up to Santos on Sunday.  I think it is going to be the only place in good shape with all the rain we are supposed to get today and tomorrow.

As much as I'd like to bring the Tranny to Boyette and pose in the parking lot and double track, I'll be at Santos.

P.S.

Don't Catman while you're there on your SS.  You have to represent green bikes!  If you fail, you won't be allowed to be a Triple T wannabe anymore.  ;)

To those that can't make it, all I can say is:  "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elder berries"!  MP

I believe with enough positive vibes, the riding conditions will be primo!  We will get just enough rain to pack everything down and make the climbs tacky.  Hey, a guy can dream can't he.  Besides, I can't do Santos two weeks in a row.

Anyways, my wife is running her first half marathon Saturday morning so I am going to be there with our daughters to cheer her on at the finish.

I will plan on Boyette for Sunday, at 0830. I don't mind getting muddy... but, how's this... if it POURS all day tomorrow, and if we know it will suck out there, someone call it.

I do not know Boyette, having only been there once... but, after watching all of PEB's videos last night, I already know I can't WAIT to ride Ridgeline. I just wanna have a positive experience...

Let me know Mates.

Catman, if you don't go, let me know where to meet up with you, so I can give you this Kit for Frankenbike.

Cheers!

Darren

You gonna ride with me, or drive yourself?
