I would have to try out a LOT of different bikes to know for sure.  BUT, my RIP with lighter components would be in the mix as well as the Intense Tracer 29, Trance X Adv. SL (carbon fiber), SC Blur LT carbon, and others.  There really are too many cool bikes out there!  I guess if I had to pick one with out any further demos, I would probably stick with my RIP and a full Sram XX component group.

I agree with Coach...

Way too many cool bikes to narrow them down, without riding all of them. I am completely happy with my current bike, even though it's 2005 technology. Once I get the new brakes on it, and the fork / shock pushed, it will be perfect in my eyes.

Now, if $$$ was not an issue, I would have a top shelf hard tail in 26 and 29 inch tires, a top shelf DH bike, a top shelf XC racer like S-Works EPIC or the likes, and a top shelf all mountain / all day riding bike... oh, and a kick tail single speed as well.

But, my bike is a great all arounder that has served me very well.

I would have several more bikes if money wasn't a concern, but the bike I would ride most often would probably be an Intense Tracer with Lyrik fork, King/Mavic UST wheels, some blingy Hope 4 piston brakes, some kind of Shimano cranks, SRAM X9 shifters, etc...

But I'd also put together a full on DH bike (Intense 951) , some kind of custom Ti hardtail (perhaps with 29" wheels), a light XC full suspension bike (Turner Flux, Ibis Mojo SL, etc) , a short travel DH/play bike (Intense Slope Style), and a longer travel freeride/All-Mountain bike (the new Knolly Delirium), and I'd throw in some kind of road bike, but nothing plastic...classic steel or ti.

Bill...

It's funny that you and I think exactly the same. We were typing our replies, at the same time...

If money were no object:

I'd have one of each!  Except for a 29er & a Specialized.  :D

Seriously though, I'm extremely happy with my 2 current rides.  I'm sure I'll get another one though....just cause.  Maybe something in titanium, or the Mojo HD when it finally comes out.

I think my new bike that is coming would pretty well be as good as it gets for my riding style. A Ti SS hardtail would be pretty nice, rode a Lynskey for a bit awhile back and it was pretty nice. I've also thought about a 9er, just to see what all the fuss is about. I rode a low level one once, and didn't really care for it. But maybe a nice one is different.

If money wasn't an issue I would quit my job and ride the bike I have more often. :)

seriously I would have many different bikes not just one, rigid, HT, FS and SS....High end stuff but not super bling. I tend to break super bling!

Same thing I have now.
Maybe that explains why a second one is on the way.
