6hrs of El Lagarto Race maps
« on: January 12, 2010, 08:47:57 AM »
Hey guys, Just finished editing the maps yesterday so I figured I'd post them for you all. Due to weather conditions there may be some slight changes come race day, but here are the corporate and red maps as they sit now.

Do you happen to know what course the Kids Blue race will take?
Also, did they repair that "Trench" the water pipe from the sprinklers made on the 1st part of the course?

So, the Corporate course is the same as last year but the red course has added trails, correct?

Not sure about the kids race, I think last year it did 2 laps around ivy and poison ivy and maybe just the first part of sprinkler hill, but I'm not 100% on what it will be this year.

The trench is still there but there is a bypass that will be used to avoid it so it's not an issue.

The corporate course is basically the same as last year except there is a newer extention to modelo hwy that was added so the loop is longer.

The red coarse added the 1st finger and little blue this year so it should be one heck of a challenge.

Cool, Thanks!
The bypass was pretty sandy when I rode it on new years day, I hope they fixed it up some.. it was so bad it stopped your wheels.

I see the start/finish on the map. Do you ride clockwise or counterclockwise? Thanks

clockwise, if you look at the map you can see the trailhead just to the left of the start line.

How many miles was the Red loop?

Approx 8.5 miles.  That was on my GPS, so actual mileage may vary.
