For Those not Doing the Croom Ride Saturday, Boyette 35?
« on: February 01, 2010, 04:33:02 PM »
I am planing on doing a long ride at Boyette on Saturday since I was not able to do the Croom 35/50. I am planning on doing all the trails at least once and maybe a couple twice. Going to try and squeeze out 35 miles or so starting at around 8:30am if any one wants to join me out there you are more than welcome.

My plans for the weekend are volatile and fluid.  BUT, if anything changes and I plan to be out there I will let you know...

Here is my proposed route so far:
SSt to Loch ness, to upper loch ness to randy's trail, to lower spider berm to upper spider berm, to gator pit to golf cart to Mt Boyette to Canyon to North Abyss, to sidewinder to swampthing to ridgeline. 2 track back to South abyss to pandemonium to sidewinder to swampthing to Garrys loop to woods trail. right on east meadow to spur. Spider berm to randys trail to west meadow to vista ridge turn around back to west meadow to baby nessie, inner loch ness to palmetto to the quads. finish quads back to palmetto to 2 track and out...
I am tired just thinking about it...

Damn, I'd like to go back to Santos, but I'll be on the SS and I'm not sure I have a pair of big boy pants for that.  ;)

Good route, but I don't think that'll get you 35. I'm trying to remember the route I did they day we did 37 or 38 out there, but it did include one trip back to the trailhead for a SAG.

just throw in 5-6 more laps on ridgeline and you'll bet at or above your 35
