CANCELED Boyette Scrub Preserve Trail Workday
« on: March 07, 2010, 02:18:40 PM »

Too much rain to allow the rock to be delivered to the park.

Therefore, the March 13, 2010 workday has been canceled.

Wes says...

The exit causeway on Ridgeline still has standing water. We have a trailer load of large rock to build up the level of the trail that will be underwater again when it rains. We would like to have a small crew on Saturday to repair the causeway, and perhaps other sections that are soft due to standing water.

We meet at the parking lot about 8:45, and depart at 9 am sharp. Bring gloves, and shoes you don't mind getting wet. Tools and lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP to trails at swampclub dot org by noon this Friday (3/12), and let me know if you want lunch.
