I would suspect that there will be quite a bit of wetness.....It really depends though. At Alafia.. Moonscape, the bridges whoops, a couple of spots on Rollercoaster are made of clay...that stuff is super slick when wet.

The same goes for most of Ridgeline, bits of Garry's loop at Boyette.....but if I could only pick between the two based upon wetness, I would pick Boyette.

Just my opinion

I've never ridden Croom but want to.  Is there an address to plug into the GPS?  Directions?

edit - is it: 11596 Croom Rital Rd Brooksville, FL 34602

Anyone from the Manatee / Sarasota area going to Croom that I could follow?

Croom is easy to get to. Take I-75 north to SR50 exit (Brooksville) hang a right and go 1 mile to the 2nd light (Croom/Rital Road) and make a left. Follow that about 5 miles to just after your hard left and park right there by the Rail trail. you can plug this in google maps 28.595789,-82.230585

Yes, thanks.  Susan and I will be there.  We were gonna ride our road bikes, but with 14 mph winds and gusts up to 35, think I've talked her into going to do the group SWAMP ride instead!

I followed the link and couldn't get google to give me directions, so thanks for that, Darrin.

There will be a small group there from the TBMB meetup.com group at 10.

Personally I'm willing to bet that all the techy trails are still going to be too wet. Probably barely rideable but sloppy. I wouldn't make the trip for the MTB.

Maybe with my cyclocross bike and haul ass around the beginner/intermediate trails. That could be fun.

Hey guys, clay doesn't dry in a day after it has rained for 2 days non-stop. I know it is unusual to have to worry about wet trails in March, but this has been a wacky year.

Trail conditions were great out at Alafia today...rode roller coaster (had a couple puddles), north creek (had a couple puddles), and bridges.  Trails were not soaked at all and made for good riding.
