Gregg,

Ken just got his bike two or three weeks ago, and his station is in Bradenton. However, he's still a good guy to have around when out biking- just send him down the trail first to see how bad it is ;D I need to remember to get a first aid kit to bring along: a major kit in the Jeep and a minor kit in my pack (gauze and duct tape at least)
We see the world not as it is, but as we are.

That's cool, I have a friend that is like that. He is like "Mikey" from the old life cereal commercials. He will try anything. Seriously though enjoy yourself , but if you are not ready to try a trail or part of a trail, there will be another day to try. We all have walked a section or two.
As far as the first aid goes, just ride with Bob (trek8500), he is an ace at triage. Trust me, this I know!

I look forward to meeting you out there sometime soon, It looks like my stump er... I mean my leg will not be healed enough for Squiggy, but I will be volunteering and I hope to see everyone out there.

I live literally 5 minutes from Morris Bridge, so that is where I go for mileage atleast two times a week, I like Boyette alot, now that they fixed the fire road (it really sucked when it was a half mile of 12" deep mud and water.) Good combination of mileage and roller coaster stuff..Alafia is a also a fav, so long as it isn't raining while on moonscape..white clay + water = slippery slope of pain and death.
I've ridden Cater Rd. (I refuse to call it by the new name;) ) dozens of times, I love the flow, everything just rolls together so seamlessly. and the fingers are nasty.
Santos is a buttload of fun...Technical but doable. Reddick is just friggan stupid. lol The triple dipper is nuts on a stick. Its fun as hell, red trail, means just that there. lol
I've also done the Dung beetle ride, which is amazing by the way..If you've never done it, I highly recommend it.
I used to do a weekly urban assault ride, but not with the swampers, mostly because the guys I was with, never liked taking set breaks or whatever,..but none-the-less we rode just about every parking garage (ALLEGEDLY)  ;D and stair set in down town Tampa..

I was riding only once a week, but now that the doc has ordered me to stop running, I am going to make up for that on my bike, so you can look for me on the trail atleast three days a week.
 ;D
When you ride so far out that you hear no traffic, no people...nothing..

zen.

If I get three Saturdays a month to ride I'm doing good,

Alafia is great, unbelievable, one day I will master Rollercoaster and North creek..
Flat woods, I used to camp and hike back in there,,

Boyette works me hardest and I need that, the two mile ride in and out,
the rolling hills, long climbs, these are what makes me push harder.

Spider, golf cart, Mt boyette max me out and take all I have.
I'm wanting to try ridge line but I don't know,,,,
