Be interested in a Singletrack Samurai Productions wool jersey?

Trying to see who would buy one.  The more we buy the cheaper the cost.

For those that dont own a wool jersey you dont know what your missing.  By far my favorite jerseys for cold or chilly weather is my wool jersey, works great, wicks perfect, 100% natural and they look super rad.

would you be interested?  Let me know,

thanks!

Estimate on price?

If we get 12 its around 80 bucks or so... estimate, could be less...which is cheap if you go around and price wool jerseys..

So far here is the running pre order list:

Karlos
Rob
JOnesy
Alan
Ryan
Theresa
Tom
Lynne

4 more pre orders and we can get the original price discussed.

It would be just like the pic above but with the lettering saying Singletrack Samurai, and on the arm an embroidered logo that looks like my avatar...

Ok, Email went out today regarding the Wool Shirts.

It only went to those who showed initial interest.  If you are now interested, that is fine, its $85 dollars a shirt.  Picture the shirt earlier in the thread, with emboroidered lettering in the front saying Singletrack Samurai, and with an embroidered logo on the arm from SSP from my Avatar.

I know right now, dead beginning of summer wool is worthless, but this was a cold winter, and if next year will probably be the same, wool is the best fabric to have in your aresenal.

thanks

Karlos

Hey...

I'm resurrecting this thread because I've recently become a wool convert.  I've heard about it, I've researched it, I got my mom to give me money for a jersey a few years ago but could never pull the plug and spend that MUCH money.

I recently connected with an old friend from school, thru FB, who's also a mtn bike rider.  Ends up he swears by wool and send me a tshirt to try out.

I'm riding in an oversized tshirt in the middle of the FL summer heat and humidity.  It doesn't feel any different from the technical fabrics that wick sweat, and this shirts wicks sweat, as well.  The only difference, at the end of the ride, this shirt doesn't smell.

I take off the shirt at the end of the ride, hang it up, and in a few hours it's dry and ready to go again.  AND IT DOESN'T SMELL.  Normally after I ride I keep to myself until I can sneak out and change clothes, afraid that I'll offend with  my....uh...naturally occurring BO.  I swear to god the wool does not smell.  It's like a miracle.

I've had my friends over at my house smell my shirt..."Hey...I just rode 3 hours in that shirt a few hours ago..."

I wore the shirt 6 times before I washed it.  That may gross you out, but why wash it if it doesn't smell?

And my friend told me about this company..Icebreaker.  They've got a sale going on that's about to end.  I think you can pick up a T for $40+ ...got to tell you, it's well worth it.

(I'm not getting paid, I swear)   Icebreaker.com

they're from NZ.

It's like magic.  You ride hard, you sweat, you take off your shirt, dry it off, and go again the next day!

I have two icebreaker long sleeve, one base, and two short and I love them. I'm putting in an order this weekend for their MTB shirt that has Lycra and wool, Plus a couple of wool bandanas.

Don't hate 'till you try it, it's really amazing. There a reason those that climbs Everest swear by it.

Cool..then wash after every ride...that's OK too.

I had the same reaction when my buddy told me...and believe me, I will put my sweat rate against anyone's. (Hey, a contest that I  actually have a shot of standing on the podium!)   Don't knock it til you've tried it.

It's just awesome to take my workout clothes off after a ride and not have to quell my gag reflex.

I have a Swobo merino wool/polyester cycling jersey that was phenomenal. It wicked sweat away but light rain or road spray would bead on the surface rather than wetting the fabric. At least until my girlfriend washed it in the regular laundry with fabric softener. It's been washed a few times since then but it doesn't wick as well as it did when new and the beading seems to be forever gone.

Be kind to technical fabrics, especially wool ones.

NK,
I've been away for a while.  I would be interested some time down the road.  Having a hard time making ends meet right now.  :'(   Sure hope it will say Single Track Summurai or SSP (Super SandPine... lol, i mean Singletrack Summurai Productions) or something like that...
