8AM Boyette ride Sunday (5-2-10)

Late notice but........ A few of us are riding Boyette this Sunday (5-2-10) starting at 8am because it's soooooo hot already.

It will be a medium paced co-ed ride. All are welcome to join us. Look for the silver box.

We rode about 20 miles total ( 4 of us). I'm getting there at sunrise next time. The heat and humidity was horrible. I'm exhausted. I drank my full camelpak (2 liters) and I was still thirsty. ughhhhhhh :P

I had a full belly of food and liquid before I left, drank 2 liters while riding, then a gatorade on the drive back and I was still thirsty when I got home. My pee was not dark so I guess I was ok hydration wise. I weighed 197 this morning before I left and weighed 190 when I got back. And women complain that it's hard to lose weight. We spent 3 hours there because I was with a couple out of shape newbies who needed rest after every trail. They did pretty good for their first time out riding in years. I was used to the cold winter and this weekend was a wakeup call for HEAT.
