My family is in the final stage of moving back to Maryland. After 5 years of living in Florida and meeting with good people and avoiding bad ones we have decided to stay close to my wife's family and where our jobs are more secure.
I have meet with wonderful individuals and spent great time with them. Living in Florida made me more aware the diversity this country has. We might not share the same ideals but the same zealous to live life to the fullest bonds us.
I thank you for accepting me to be a part of your life even for a short while. I will cherish the miles we ride and hike, the pain we endured, the embarrassment we felt, the personal failure we suffered, the physical injury we nursed, the silly things we fought over, the pride we wore on each ride, the respect and the lack of to our skills and abilities, and the joy we experienced.
I hope I brought the good on each of you because you did make me a better person.
So after the BS…I am looking to setup a farewell ride at Croom on June the 5th Saturday. Rollout at 9am from the Fire Tower. I have nothing to offer except for your accomplishment riding in one of Florida’s best trail. Bring your own preferred post ride beverages and snacks. This will be a hammerfest and may the strongest rider gets to the parking lot first. Everyone is invited.
The route will be the whole Blue Loop.
I hope you guys will make it.
