Seasonal trail closed
« on: June 24, 2010, 06:39:27 PM »
Hey folks - hate to say it, but Ridgeline is temporarily closed because of the effects the rain has had on the clay base and lower sections.

Remember, this was built in one of the lower sections of the property - besides the big hills that shoot up out of it of course.

It will be reopened as soon as it has had a chance to drain some, so keeping bikes off of it in it's most vulnerable condition is paramount to it riding nicely when it is reopened.

Thank you for understanding and respecting it's closed status.

It always stinks when  trail is closed, but those of us who understand know it is necessary sometimes. I' will also keep and eye out when I am out there for signs of poachers...

I was out on Sunday and it looked like Big Drop was blocked off also.  Any confirmation?  The bottom looked kind of washed out and the drop in was pretty rutted.

Yes Kev, Big Drop is a mess too.  Some of both Abyss's need attention, but right now BD is the only one in there closed off.  Sorry, tired, forgot to mention that.

I saw the bundle of brush in front, but it didn't seem to stop a couple guys.
