Check out my new bike ( Haro Railer SS )
« on: July 01, 2010, 02:34:04 PM »

http://www.harobikes.com/mtb/tab2_subNav8.php

It was $500 marked down half off to $250 at the Trek store.

It's like a beach cruiser had a baby with a BMX bike.  It rides damn nice and is pretty light for what it is. It's so stout I wouldn't be afraid to take it off road on an easy trail.

-6061 Alum frame w/ built in bottle opener, derailer hanger, cable guides
-Hayes rear disk brake
-Kenda K-Rad tires
-BMX bar/stem
-Cane Creek headset
-Cromo fork
-dork seat, chainguard and rear fender soon to be removed
-freewheel  pivot disk hub w/double walled rims

I gotta show off to the BMX gang of kids in my neighborhood.

TL is obviously a fan of IKEA furniture.  Don't hate.

I dig the Haro.  Cool cruising bike.

It is what it is: a cheap beater bike for cruising the neighborhood. It's very upright and comfortable and I already got complements from the BMX kids. One even raced me around the block twice. I totally won but he was only about 6 years old I'm guessing.  ;D

???Haro is a BMX bike company  It has BMX bars/stem/ tires/single rear brake/SS/platform pedals ???

I'd say theres quite a bit of BMX DNA  in it.

I am such a bike whore (impusive buyers disease) I just bought another bike today that I like better (Specialized/Globe Carmel)

So I'll sell my Haro for $250. All will be stock except I put new nicer/smoother rolling Bontrager Cruiser tires on it.
