Next thing we see will be someone that has photostopped an Ellsworth head tube badge on it... probably one of the local Giant cool aid drinkers...  ;D

Good luck with the replacement.

If they don't warranty it, what about getting it repaired?

Just happened yesterday so waiting for replies.  I am hoping for repair or 50% off frame replacement program.  We'll see...

S/B 100% replacement on Titanium. Ti even though strong, it still breaks. That is definately equipment failure judging by where the break is located.

That is the same place that others have cracked..... The gussets were added after the first gen started cracking at the head tube..... now they crack at the gussets.... design issue IMO.

Sorry SP.... seeing that on a Ti frame is just heart breaking.

As of late 2009 maybe just 2010, no more gussets.  They've gone to a beefier downtube.  I hope they don't go the route of the Niner with the 1.5 integrated HT.

Bummer.  This is the second Ti failure I've seen this week (the other was a full suspension Litespeed).
