controled burn???

Someone told me today that a controled burn was scheduled for flatwoods soon.Does anyone know if true and when??I have a ride planned there this saturday.

They've had parts closed for building fire roads on the HITF side.  Looks horrible, like the land's been raped.  And the other side was closed for a wildlife survey last week.  But the parks are generally  open on the weekends.

Thanks I will be there with a newbee and an almost newbee sat morn............I have spent the past few months taking new riders to easy trails..Maybe on the way back I will hit boyette.

Was Told tonight that all trails are open now. Fire roads are done, but some of the trails have had some damage.. Be careful out there..
