Feb 12 SB Greenway/Santos Ride
« on: January 24, 2011, 09:15:39 AM »
Plan is the same as the Epic+ New Year's Eve ride, but this time we will continue past the Epic turnaround and visit the new trails near 200.  I'm not sure on total mileage, but my guess is close to 55.  We will leave from the Landbridge trail at 8:30, ride west, then ride back to the LB for lunch/break/resupply, then out to Santos, shred the gnar, then hammerfest back to LB.

8:30

Landbridge

55? Miles

Bring hammers

Who's down?
'10 Epic 29er (shred machine)
'08 Gary Fisher Montare (urban/CX commuter)
'10 Rockhopper Comp 29er (SS soul-ridah pain cave)
Semper Fidelis
02-10 SSGT of Marines
(Most) always down for a ride in the Gainesville area

There is also an option to cut the mileage nearly in half.  Just ride until we get back to the LB and you'll get a good 30 miles in.

I know that's how far you rode on the Epic+, but I was told the new blues add more mileage to that?  Those trails hadn't been cut when you rode.  Unless you have been shredding up those trails without telling us...

No, but we went into the Ross prairie TH section that added like 4 miles.. I think it will still be about 28 miles when all is said and done.. I guess you are just supposed to turn around at the fence at 200

I have to play it by ear.  Depends on the date for MK's ride.
