My First Boyette Ride
« on: March 23, 2007, 03:57:37 PM »
Well what can I say it was great. SWAMP does a great job of taking care of the trails. I took it kinda easy today, I rode SST, Loch ness, East Meadow, then back to Loch Ness, and into parking.  Great ride!! Got attacked by a huge grasshopper, almost caused me to wreck!! Saw another couple of guys out there on my way back, don't know if they were swampers or not, that was about 1520. Anyway, All together it was 5.90 miles at an average speed of 8.5 comes out to about 42 mins. I can't wait till april 1st so I can see what swamp is all about. See ya then!!

Good to hear it.  But why 4/1?  Why not join SWAMP this Sunday at Croom?

The wife works and we couldn't find a baby sitter, for the girls. Other wise I would be out there in an instant. Though I do want to take the beginners class, just to make sure I'm not missing any critcal skills I could use out on the trail.

I whole-heartily recomend the Intro course. I had been riding maybe a month and was just getting into the single black diamond trails at Alafia when I took it, and I still learned LOTS. Wes and Marty are great teachers.
We see the world not as it is, but as we are.
