LIVESTRONG & YMCA MTB Challenge at LHP
« on: February 02, 2011, 08:14:36 AM »
Looks like Red Trail Racing is putting on another fine event at Carter later this month.  Does anyone know if this is an endurance 4-6 hrs event?  Or just a two lap short xc race type of event?  Same course as 6 hrs of el lagarto?  Any other details?  plz...

Hey all
Course should be approx 6-6.5 miles. Three laps for fun class and 4 laps for serious etc..
Event will be in the field by Snake Ridge/Boatramp. Very XC Friendly course mainly corporate style with maybe a hint of red ;)

P.S. Not a 6hr, 12 hr, 24 hr, Trail to Trail, Urban or a race thats part of a series. Just a straight up Mountain Bike Race!
-When is the last time there was one of those??????????? or was there? ;D

Also dont forget we are doing a 5k and 5 mile 5 Finger Frenzy/Livestrong Running event the day before (sat 26th)

THANKS!!!!

SFG, as Ray said... "corporate style with a hint of red" ... either one sound like may bore you unless you just want to work on a ALL out fast pace race.  I may be down for this and would definately do the 4 laps (serious)... unless I see all the state pro/sport racers on there.

I'm just wondering if the clydes are doing 3 laps or 4 so I can decide whether to do serious or clyde. You are right, probably not my thing, but it should be fun and supports a good cause so I'll probably do it.

You should definitely bring "it" as well.

Actually, if your not going to bring "it", don't bother showing up.
